Hi, I'm Damien. I attended a boarding school and benefitted first-hand from an independent school experience. Many years later, I wanted the same for my son – and with so much information available, I was overwhelmed with the options. In navigating the search, I found what was most valuable were the word-of-mouth personal recommendations from parents, alumni, and staff who had authentic experiences to draw on.
Till now, there hasn't been a digital place to enable peer-to-peer connection between a school’s community and prospective parents. So, I founded School InSight as a resource for parents like me wanting the best possible education for their children and the schools looking to enrol them.

As a father of two sons that attended private school, I quickly realised the impact School InSight can have for parents of pupils and independent schools. My background is in IT, where I've worked as a finance and managing director. I'm also a trustee of a multi-academy trust in Wiltshire, striving to deliver a quality and impactful education for all children. I'm excited to bring my experience, finance expertise and passion for education to School InSight.
I grew up attending a private school myself, so it was only natural I enroled my two sons as well. I could've benefited greatly from a resource like School InSight. Bringing decades of information tech and SaaS expertise to the table, I'm keen to develop tech solutions for parents like me looking for a positive education experience for their children. Outside of work, you'll find me cheering on the Exeter Chiefs with my boys.
